A Little Piece of England

Nuwara Eliya, a hill station located in the central region of Sri Lanka, has been the ideal resort for holiday makers from other parts of the island to visit, especially during the warm summer months of April & May. The lush, green, salubrious environment, with its cool temperature, is very much akin to a miniature town in England, having been governed and managed by British planters during the colonial era from 1815 until 1948.
