Kisavi Jaywardena is a young and passionate author, who is an avid fan of the horror and thriller genre. She typically writes horror stories but is working on exploring her writing abilities in multiple genres. Sri Lankan-born, Kisavi grew up in Oman and was raised in a family of three. She is the oldest of three daughters, her father a pastry chef, and her mother an English teacher. She began her writing journey when she and her family moved back to Sri Lanka in 2017. Kisavi’s first internship and exposure to the working world was at the age of 15 when she interned during her Christmas break at Cosmopolitan Sri Lanka. After completing her high school education at La Petite Fleur Academy, she completed an internship in finance at Scanwell Logistics. Kisavi Jayawardena then got her first job at ChoKoLAATe Magazine as a writer and project assistant in 2021. Kisavi’s other passions are fashion and art. She is currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Business Management and following through with a course in Fashion Design. She enjoys trying out new cafes, recipes and movies. Her other interests include jewellery craftsmanship and psychology. She hopes to achieve both her dreams of designing her own clothing brand and being an author.
