A Street Full Of Secrets

Though the beautiful Jenny Bryce never answered Canadian Captain Greg Jameson's love letters during the latter years of WWII, when he called on her in Nottingham before his demob home, little did he know of the web of intrigue, hate and lies his arrival would stir in Cross Street.

During the worst winter in history, with mountain high snow drifts, Nellie Bishop goes into labour with her sixth child. Husband Jack and the concerned midwife are relieved to hear the ringing bell of the ambulance as it struggles through the blizzard, but both doubt it will get to Nellie in time.

Friends and neighbours in this close community are concerned for her and the baby, on the street that holds secretes buried far deeper than the snow piling up outside their front doors.
