Tea House Blues

Gayathri Madhurangi Hewagama is an academic and a creative writer. She has a PhD in English Literature from University of Massachusetts Amherst, USA, and a BA and Mphil in the same field of studies from University of Peradeniya, Sri Lanka. She is the author of Conquering Karma, (2022) a collection of short stories rooted in the socio-politics of the island, which was nominated for the State Literary Awards 2023. Her second publication, Amber Lights (2023) is a collection of poetry that plays with the erotics of aesthetics from a woman’s point of view. Her poetic explorations continue in this, her third, 'Tea House Blues'.
