Anya was confused, she thought love was guaranteed. Heshan wondered if it’s ever really too late to be the person he wanted to be. Kavitha wasn’t being fair. She knew that she was getting in the way, but she didn’t stop. Zara, a soon-to-be mother, had lost all hope until she heard her baby cry.

This book dives into a collection of stories that explores the intricacies of life, for life can be confusing. Life can be timely. Life can be misleading, unfair even. But life can also be hopeful and in the midst of it all, life can be funny.

Kimaya Weerasekera lives in Sri Lanka where she works as a Special Education Teacher. Kimaya always enjoyed writing but it was only in her early twenties that she first encountered the world of flash fiction after being introduced to the genre by her cousin. She was instantly captivated by the art of short story telling and was inspired to create her own stories. Over the years her love and passion for the art of writing grew and today it has led to her debut book.
